Do you regularly do any
of the following things?
- Turn up to school
or work the day after a session and still feel out of it. Maybe you don't
bother turning up at all.
- Get out of it before
or while you are at school or work.
- Do stupid things when
you are out of it (things that you normally wouldn't do) like vandalism,
assault or engaging in risky sexual behaviour.
- Hang out with people
that you would not be with if you were straight.
- Do risky things while
you are using drugs, like drive, go biking, skate, use machinery or hang
out in potentially dangerous places.
- Get in trouble with
the police for doing things to get money to pay for drugs.
- Have people on your
case about your drug using eg. Parents, teachers, friends, boss or partner.
If you can relate to
some of this stuff then it would be true to say that your drug use is causing
problems in your life. If you decide that you want to change your drug taking
habits and would like a bit of help to do it, then hit the help button for
