Polytech Student Services

All services are free to tech students and are totally confidential.

Student Services are based at the Bell St campus, on the ground floor of the "B" Block. Their hours are weekdays from 8:30am-4pm. If you want to see them about something you can either drop in or call for an appointment on (06) 757 3266.

The Polytech Student Services are made up of counsellors, nurses and a doctor and is available free to all students (and their families) who are enrolled in programmes at the tech. The staff at Student Services include:

Depression, Alcohol, Stress, Suicide, Anxiety, Drugs, Self Harm, Sex and Sexual Health, Sexuality, Relationship Hassles, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders, Other Stuff, Little Black Book, Home

Jenny Spice, a counsellor who deals with lots of the problems that are discussed in "Trippin".
Te Maramatanga Bolstad, a counsellor who works with Maori students.
Jennie Davies and Beth Adams, nurses who assist with physical and sexual health concerns and work alongside the doctor when necessary.
